“Liquid glass” promises to protect the smartphone screen from blows not worse than armored glass
Startup ProtectPax began raising funds for the launch of the same-name gel, which could potentially revolutionize the gadget industry. According to the developers, this compound protects the screens of any devices, like a durable tempered glass.
The composition of the gel includes nanoparticles of titanium dioxide. Penetrating into the smallest cracks screens, they strengthen them from the inside. In this case, the glass acquires strength similar to sapphire or ruby.
ProtectPax has a hardness of 9N on the Mohs scale (equal in hardness to corundum or tungsten carbide) – exceeding by this index, for example, the knife blade. Coverage of it lasts a year and, among other things, protects gadgets from electromagnetic radiation and improves the operation of touch screens.
The gel is suitable for any device, including smartphones, smartcams, glasses, laptops and even TV screens. One package of ProtectPax will cost users $ 40.
