In the camera of the new iPhone, shooting modes
The camera of the new iPhone can get support for several shooting modes, completely uncharacteristic for iOS. The corresponding reference was found by the developer Guilherme Rambo in the firmware HomePod, which he reported in a personal microblog.
Judging by the screenshot presented, the previously unknown function of SmartCamera will be the basis for the upcoming innovations. With her help, the smartphone will be adjusted to the shooting conditions, activating a special algorithm system.
At this point, the HomePod firmware contains information about eight modes: fireworks, landscape, animals, sport, sky, snow, sunrise / sunset, and concert.
It is possible that the support for shooting modes will be available not only to the owners of the new iPhone. This, in particular, is evidenced by the presence in the list of the function of scanning QR-codes already available to users of devices running the beta version of iOS 11.
HomePod firmware was a real storehouse of information about upcoming Apple products. Thanks to her, we learned about the possible design of the iPhone 8, the methods of its identification, as well as the processing power of the smart column itself and the features of its software.
