Huawei can bypass Apple in the next year
Huawei, the Chinese smartphone maker, has been targeting first place among its competitors by 2021, and, admittedly, this company is making incredible progress to achieve its goal. At least Apple has almost managed to catch up with it.
According to the latest forecast from Strategy Analytics, Huawei shipped more than 38 million smartphones in the last quarter. The figure is really rather big, especially Apple managed to realize a little more – 41 million iPhone. As late as last year, Huawei lagged behind the "apple" company by 8 million smartphones sold.
Since 2011, the market for smartphones has been dominated by Apple and Samsung, close to not allowing anyone from other manufacturers. To fight, and tried, and Nokia, and BlackBerry, and even Xiaomi, but in the end they were either on the line below, or did become outsiders list.
Three years later, Huawei broke into the market with its Napoleonic plans, and so far it has succeeded in what other competitors of the Big Two could only dream of. The company has already achieved a decrease in Apple's revenue in China, and now is aiming for a tough expansion in Europe.
If Huawei's growth continues, the corporation will press Apple and win second place after Samsung.
